PLEASANTON'S HOUSING UPDATE: FIRST COMMUNITY-WIDE MEETING

 Slated for Thursday, June 24th

WHY RESIDENTS SHOULD CARE AND PARTICIPATE

The State of California mandates the number of housing units to be built in each city. The number of new homes built in Pleasanton will have long-term impacts on our limited water supply, in-town traffic, classroom crowding and property values, to name only a few.

Pleasanton recently received its sixth cycle of housing updates to cover the period from 2023 to 2031 (nearly 6,000 units).  There will be three community-wide Zoom meetings to solicit resident feedback. All residents are encouraged to join the meetings to learn about the Housing Element Update process and how your input can make a difference.

The first meeting kicks off this Thursday, June 24, 2021 from 6:00 to 7:30 PM on Zoom.
